Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DevDock, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

DevDock is a project management platform designed for game development studios. It provides task boards, AI-assisted sprint planning, team collaboration tools, whiteboards, and a Roblox Studio plugin.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use DevDock. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Billing and Payments

DevDock's project-management features are free to use - there are no per-seat charges and every feature is available to every studio at no cost. The only thing that costs money is the built-in AI assistant, because each AI message incurs real third-party compute cost. There are two ways to pay for it, and both are optional.

One-time credit packs. AI message credits that let you use the assistant. They are a one-time purchase, never expire, and are shared across your studio.

AI Plan subscription. An optional recurring plan (billed monthly or yearly) that includes a fixed allotment of AI messages each month. The monthly allotment resets at the start of each month and does not roll over; purchased one-time credits are separate and still never expire. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan's remaining monthly messages at the end of the current period, but does not refund the current period. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. AI message credits and paid subscription periods are non-refundable once charged, except where required by law - because each AI message incurs real third-party compute cost, used messages cannot be reversed.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on DevDock (tasks, projects, chat messages, whiteboard content). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant DevDock a limited license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the service, including sending data to AI providers for AI-powered features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the service for illegal purposes, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, distribute malware, abuse the AI chat system, or use the service to harass others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. AI Features

DevDock uses AI (powered by Anthropic) to provide sprint planning, task suggestions, and chat assistance. AI-generated content is provided as-is and should be reviewed before acting on it. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI suggestions.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep DevDock available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

DevDock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
